Finders Keepers brings together more than 5000 household objects from over 40 collections, including staircases, rainwater heads and sash window weights from the Brooking National Collection. The collection is regularly consulted by students, historians, architects and others with an interest in British building history. In 2014 part of the window collection was on show at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

In its autumn programme, focusing on ‘the collection’ in its many forms and meanings, Het Nieuwe Instituut invites the public to contemplate the necessity of collections, their complexity and the pleasure they bring.
